Celebrate your German heritage (or be German for the day) at Fremont Oktoberfest. Running Sept. 24-26 in the "Center of the Universe," Fremont's event was voted by USA Today as one of the top places to celebrate Oktoberfest.
There will be events for the whole family, including a Dogtoberfest, a Brew HA-HA 5k, music, kids' area, Texas chain-saw pumpkin carving and, of course, a beer garden. For more information about Fremont Oktoberfest, visit their website.
